Gamal Hennessy
Gamal is the president of the NCI. The organization is a product of his work and interest in nightlife. In 2004, Gamal formed Nightlife Publishing, a media company that is dedicated to nightlife and publishes the online magazine New York Nights. In 2009, he became a member of the Responsible Hospitality Institute as a featured speaker. Gamal has appeared on NPR radio and his articles have appeared in Bar Business Magazine, Chilled Magazine and the Examiner.
Nelson Pinero
Nelson Pinero is the media director of the NCI. He graduated from Mercy College in 1993 with a degree in Journalism and Media before beginning his career in advertising. Mr. Pinero is presently a partner at Mindshare and an accomplished musician who donates his time to the charity Musicians on Call in addition to performing with various New York City bands.
Sarah Bidnick
Ms. Bidnick is the treasurer of the Nightlife Cultural Initiative. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Finance from the University of Scranton and began her career in global program management at JPMorgan. She served as a manager of SILVERDOCS Film Festival from 2008-2009, digital strategy manager of OURscene TV from 2009-2010 and the Managing Editor of Online Media for Womensphere from 2010-2011. Ms. Bidnick is currently a project manager for the Fearless Group in New York.
